Put it away
Put it away
Put it back in the closet
And let it stay
It will always be there
For another day
When you feel the need
To scream and shout
When you feel the need
To pull it out
Just put it away
For today

Ah Bella good advice given in a poetic form that all can understand. Simple but wise words of a poet that has lived. Loved it
Thanbk you my friend, we've all been there at times. Have a Beautiful Sunday!
Sounds like my wife!
Thanks so much for reading!
Sage words Bella, expressed with fervour in a down to earth narrative as it should be. Experience holds sway through this one. Very well done indeed.
All the very best'
Tony.
I have to say I've lived it, and made peace with it. Thank you so much for your encouraging words, truly appreciated.
BRAVO
Thank you Tony, that word means a great deal to me!
You're welcome
A lovely positive message delivered in this write, give yourself a break from the bad thoughts, enjoyed the read
Thank you so much for your lovely positive comment! We all find our happy place at times, thank goodness.
You are very welcome
The restraint in this hits harder than shouting ever could. That quiet repetition...“put it away”...carries so much unspoken weight. It’s the kind of hurt that sticks around and haunts because it’s been lived too many times. Beautifully done, Bella. 🌹👏
Thank you dear poet, you read it perfectly!
Yay!!! You are most welcome!
But the pleasant thoughts will always overwhelm the bad ones Bella.
Andy
We can't keep the unpleasant thoughts at bay forever. But the brain is kind enough to soften the blows over time ,that we may put things in perspective. Thank you Andy, for the wonderful, positive force you are!
Excellent...I like the simple style you use to covey the theme.
Thank you so much my friend!
Preach it! Excellently rendered in disarming simplicity with a forceful thrust and haunting poignancy. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you so much for such kind words!
This reminds me of my temper. Its much better at bay. Lol. Nice write.
