Notice of absence from Poetic Licence
Now is the time.
Now is the time.
Secrets.
You Vigorously protect Your Secrets
The Pressure of Silence Will Mount, Then
Your Secrets Will become Fear.

This poem contains a secret. In search of it I found it and it is in the last line. A fave

Hmm. What a piece for Friday, and of all Fridays, Xmas in July no less. Wow! Pack a punch so weighty, I'm intrigued. Excellently rendered with sheer mystique, lovely imagery, and a haunting, damning poignancy. Thank you for sharing.

Stark and potent, Tobani. The shift from silence to fear lands is soft but powerful, and that second line builds the tension perfectly. Truly, an excellent job, my dear friend. 🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛ A fave.
Thank you kindly Tristan, I hope you have a wonderful weekend
You are most welcome, my friend.
Oh my god, so true. The secrets we keep do become our fear. The sad part is that 98% of my secrets aren't mine; they belong to others, and I've carried them all these years. And yet, they've been played against me over and over as threats, reversed back to me as if it was my fault or I caused it!
Thank you for your feedback, very much appreciated
That fear may pass Tobani and life will be good.
Andy
Thank you
Hello, Tobany,
The confessions priests must bear in silence, such secrets bust be a daily burden weighed down with their own secrets. You have defined the fear in a secret in a perfectly rounded verse. Excellent, my friend.
Fond regards,
Tony.
Thank you for your kind feedback, enjoy the rest of your day
