"unspoken storms"
Still waters conceal unspoken storms,
Not from apathy, but a need for calm.
Eyes don’t always radiate cries within—
Some truths resist the need to begin.
Let them talk, assume, decide—
In silence, whole galaxies reside.

A short write that contains instead of a tempest in a teacup the eye of the hurricane where calm pervades. Nicely written
Thanks Soren, the calm is quite coveted these days. 🕊️🙏🏻
You are most welcome my friend calm is good
Like it calm instead of a storm, instead of before a storm, nicely done
As do I, thanks Tobani🙏🏻🕊️
You are welcome
May this poem turn our gaze inward, revealing the fierce turbulence that can lurk beneath a composed exterior. It asks what remains unuttered by choice rather than neglect, and how silence can contain entire universes of feeling. Step into its quiet depths and discover the hidden galaxies of the heart—no spoilers, just an invitation to listen.
Oh...it certainly did my friend!
Rik, this holds such quiet power…like a steady hand over deep waters. The restraint makes the depth all the more felt…each line a galaxy in itself (which I love). By the way, my friend, I’ve been meaning to ask—do you create your own artwork for these? If so, you’re an incredible artist beyond the poetry…if not, you’ve still got an impeccable eye, for you are a great artist regardless! Well done here on all accounts. A fave. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️
Good write A.
Thanks O.
I wish! It would take me forever to complete one frame 🖼️ wasn’t the best student.
Less than half without them.
Oceans are deep. What secrets they keep? Nice.
So true! Thanks Keeter 🕊️🙏🏻
Such wonderfully true words arqios.
