Raven Came He Came a'Tapping

Teddy.15

My Raven came, he came a'tapping
on window pane
whilst I was napping

he came to me, to tell a truth
that I should not remain recluse

he told me there's a world outside
a life that's full and there's no strife

he told me I should rise from slumber
so I did, and now I wander

mind can see, mind can touch
seek the sun, I love so much

smell the roses red as cherries
collect in basket all the berries

found a truffle in the ground
touched the salt in ocean's mouth

next time I take a restless nap
I'll surely wait for Raven's
tap.

                    Hello, Teddy,

You started off with Poe's raven and then the poem became your own, bringing us on a journey, lush with roses, cherries and a basket full of berries as you make your way down to the sea. Just lovely. Thank you very much for inviting us along.

Wishing you all the very best,

                    Tony.
