Notice of absence from Poetic Licence
GRATIAS AGO TIBI.
GRATIAS AGO TIBI.
Harry Forgot.
Harry started preparing Mary’s dinner.
He thought this would really please her.
Everything was going well to Harry’s plan.
All the food in the correct pots and pans.
Two hours later he shouted out to Mary.
Come down darling your dinner is ready.
Harry put the food nicely out on the plate.
For Mary's reaction Harry could not wait.
He thought it’s not as hot as it should be
But it would still make Mary very happy
The candles lit and the wine poured out.
Mary would enjoy that Harry had no doubt.
But the look on Mary's face was of horror.
Harry had forgotten to turn on the cooker.
All over again Harry had let poor Mary down.
Back in the doghouse, Harry is now found.

To me, your poem revolves around the theme of love and the inevitable mistakes that can occur in relationships. It highlights how even well-intentioned actions can lead to disappointment if not executed properly.
