Cabbages Rule OK?

Now I was in discussion with a poet

Here and there

About the time of a General Election, I think

 

Now, we didn't know who to vote for

So between us we decided on

The Cabbage Party**

A Party ruled by vegetables

Cabbage, carrots, turnips, whatever, all can join .....

They might speak too

Well, Fido speaks, so.....

 

Makes sense to me

And the slogan sounds good:

'Cabbages Rule OK!'

Now we're in competition with

The Monster Raving Loony Party!

 

Will ya sign up to cabbages?
