We look in our wallets
And see how much we have,
Check our bank accounts
To see how much is there,
We get to know exactly what we have.
But we have another currency,
It is called time.
We spend it and never know,
Never know the balance,
It is so important.
We never know how much,
How much we have left,
So use your time wisely.
You just do not know,
Do not know when there will be none left.

“Never know the balance…” This points to a deep reality of life : we never know when the last day will come. We always think it is far, far away… So we should do what we have to do and leave a lasting imprint in our own lifetime. In poetry, we do so. I hope when I stop posting and responding someone will write my obituary here…

Fine words Soman, thank you.

Us two have had millions of years already.
We certainly do Orchi.
I've always been odd then as I never really know what's in my funds until there's nearly none and time has always stood still. Seconds within seconds so much wasted that much is true!
Time is the most valuable thing we have in our life Dan, we must enjoy every moment.
