Natures life line

Poetic Dan

When I need space and my anger says I want to be alone, I'm quietly reliving the moments my heart broke on my own.

To young for the torment of feeling unloved, yet old enough to search on with passion to fill it up.

Words of intellectual patterns of greed, fighting for the next breadcrumb so not to feel the burden of poverty.

My problem is nothing will ever be enough, everything creates so much pressure I always erupt.

That's when nature is my lifeline, especially the mutt. Waiting with no need for explanations or grovelling posture, no judgements just love that never gave up.

  • Comment from author about the poem: Forever on this healing journey and after coming back here the other day, I actually got inspired to pick up a pencil and write something that's been needed for some time. I just have to now put it to digital but this I wrote in the sun this morning after more triggers send me on this wild ride of life. Keep up the write. Always appreciate your time.

A honest and nicely written write, finding nature takes the pressure off a little, to find a little piece and quiet time especially with the best friend, enjoyed the read

Unconditional love the healing balm and so rare to encounter. Usually only from a mother if one is lucky enough to have one of that type. A lovely write

I don't think any human can live up to be in the moment as nature does but who knows what further generations will do when we all try to break the cycle a like more!
      Always appreciated
      Much peace and respect

I couldn't help myself but hit the fave. Wonderful poem. I identified myself with it from the very first stanza. Though I don't have a pet, the poem spoke of things which went straight to my heart...bypassing the brain
