Wordless music talks

Poetic Dan

If you listen to music without words long enough, it will begin to speak.

Where this comes from, that's between you and your feet.

The soul is a concept, much like the rest of this reality.

Nothing is impossible when not held back by any one belief.

As a wise man once said "Be water my friend, shapeless" ready to mold or run free.

  • Comment from author about the poem: I'll be honest I used to listen to the washing machine chat when younger but the other day a tune was playing and although it had no words, I began to hear the different sounds mold into something else. I know I'm not the only one. This write was fun!

A fun read that rings with truth. I heard the water sing in the pipes from the shower the other day and there were words that I could almost make out. Good write

What a perfect example! Wonderful minds must hear music all the time or maybe we all do as a child then life takes its toll! But I've never paid the troll! Lol

To me all of nature is music it is only listening for it that one finds it for it hides beneath the opening of a paper, the running of a brook or the blowing of the wind.

Love Bruce Lee, so that line—“Be water my friend”...really sticks with me here. It ties the whole piece together, shaping the silence into wisdom. Nicely done, Dan. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛

Thank you kindly and I'll be honest there's two people that have always been my heroes! Bruce Lee and 2pac
          Again, really appreciate your time.

Music without words speaks in frequencies we forget we understand; like the gurgling hum of a washing machine once mistaken for conversation, or a tune that suddenly shapes itself into meaning. The poem captures that moment when sound transcends structure, when belief loosens its grip and the soul becomes less a definition, more a sensation. It’s a playful meditation on fluidity: of thought, of self, of sound, and a reminder too that we’re not alone in hearing the unsaid. The joy in writing it echoes the joy in listening: both are acts of quiet discovery.

When belief loosens its grip! So wonderful said and couldn't thank you enough for such an energetic commitment.
            Always appreciated
            Much peace and respect

I have been listening to music all my life Dan and can still surprised at the feelings it can bring to me. Keep listening.

a good idea to try to decipher what different sounds can convey other than what they are meant to - a unique concept

            • Poetic Dan

Truly appreciate your kind words and time. Much peace and respect
              Keep listening and writing
