Teddy, this reads with such warmth…like sitting in that very glow you describe. The transition feels tender rather than mournful, a gift of presence in every shade. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛ Glad to read this while sitting atop Little Round Top in Gettysburg, PA. Only about a 3 hr drive from where I live. The location has naught to do with your poem, but that I read it here. Your poems travel…see, my dear friend? Wonderful job!
My dear Tristan, I'm not about to kick the bucket 🤣 I'm only 50 years young. To know you read this in a place you love is really all the warmth I need. My sweet friend, thank you. Enjoy your view dearest of friends 🌹
Hahaha! Ooh and I am only 3 years younger so you better not be close to kicking the bucket or it might be close to my time too. 😜 I am glad that brought warmth to you! As for the place, it is a battlefield where one of the bloodiest battles of the USA's Civil War was fought. Kind of a reverent place to sit, observe, write...some new poems will be up and coming from today's trip. But indeed, I do enjoy visiting there. Haunting...but beautiful too. I needed some outdoors inspiration and took a road trip!
oh well, it's the rainy season here - and i am over 70 so obviously the weather is affecting me, but i carry on nevertheless - we only live once...
you have a beautiful day too - and then, a great weekend
It's more tropical here too, humid and yes we only live once, but the heat here gets to 43 c sometimes, hard to live well, anyway my favourite season is autumn. Thank you once again dearest NafisaSB 🌹
in india, summer is always hot, hotter and hottest with the temperature hovering in the 40s so i can imagine how it is over there...
so time to visit tthe beach, and cool down by whichever way possible
have a great weekend

Reflecting on ones age and the fruits that have come from it be they leaves or seeds they all add color to what life has been. A most lovely write
Thank you my dearest sorrenbarret 🌹
