We have them all the time,
The days that come and go,
But in our lives there are just two days,
Two days where nothing can be done.
One is called yesterday,
And the other is called tomorrow.
So today is the right day,
The right day to do things,
To do things and live,
So live for today.

Oh, I'm living in the yesterday I worried about next year. I'm a confused laddie. lol.
Confusion can reign very often Orchi.
With such irresistible accompaniment, this seems dynamic. Thank you very much for sharing. Excellently rendered with a touch of imagery and with those strains, what a haunting poignancy! Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for your kind words CM, much appreciated.

This short, reflective poem distills a simple but powerful truth: the only day we can truly act in is today. Yesterday is beyond our reach, tomorrow is not yet ours, and both are beyond our control. By naming them as the two days โwhere nothing can be done,โ the poem clears space for the present moment; urging us to embrace it as the right time to act, to live, and to make meaning. Itโs a gentle yet insistent reminder to anchor ourselves in now, where life actually happens.
Thank you for your understanding words Rik, much appreciated.
