So Friendship persuades the need for a hug;
I would if I knew who I was hugging.
Sentiment made not so much to bug
But let her know I knew what she was doing.
A private message told me I was missed;
Though such sentiments could almost have won,
My response with her true name was a twist…
Blocked again - you and poets here can have fun…..

Ah, but ahem, caveat first: my extreme lack of sleep painfully eliminates my ability to think clearly, even when filling the pot for tea an hour or so ago. That said, you blocked her?! She's actually nice. I still tag after the poets/poetess who blocked me nearly a year ago now. It's the "happy" reality of this medium. Excellently rendered with a haunting poignancy, thank you for sharing.
