Life can be like moulding clay,
It can change in every moment
As the clay is pushed into shape.
Once you think it is ready
It can be fired into permanency
And never change again,
Unless it is broken.
But if we fix our lives like that
We may miss the better shapes,
The better shapes of our life.
So never put your life into a fixture
As the wonder and glory of our lives
May still be waiting for us.
Waiting for us each moment we allow.
Each moment we allow change.

Good write Gold. 'If it ain't broke, don't fix it!' I say to KP. It would save her hundreds of pounds not having botox. lol.
Very true Orchi
Lovely concept. 🌹

A good analogy Gold my clay seems to be never fired and changes day to day. I guess the day I die will be the day it is fired. A very nice poem Andy
Very true soren, the same with me.

Most welcome my friend
I love the metaphor of life as clay flexible, ever-changing, and full of potential. The poem beautifully reminds us to stay open to growth and possibility, and not rush to fix our lives too soon. It’s inspiring and reflective.
Thank you for your kind and understanding words Petra.
