Sometimes I want to call you
but I know in my heart
you're not here
I’m sorry you had to let go
I’m sorry we had to say goodbye
one more embrace
one more thing to say?
I’d truly give anything
to hear your voice today
back in time
I saw your smile
you told me I was loved
you told me, you were proud
yet, today...
this room has no crowd.

Prophetic read imbued with memories - definately not a limerick. A super write.
Thank you so much my dear friend, Michael, I've missed you, want to play limericks? I'll be back later if you are up for some shenanigans? .. ❤️
TYou bet - love a challenge.
There was an old man with one eye
Who loved to eat apple pie
One day his pie fell
His wife, she did yell
Not a pavlova just hell
LoL ok.im really rusty it's been a while.
Been a busy week but I'll play with it later
There was an old man with one eye
Who decided to make apple pie
But sadly the crust
all crumbled to dust
which made his one eye start to cry
LOL and he's back, fabulous 😍
😊😊
The letting go of a relationship, be it death in the physical sense or in the emotional death takes all. It carries a sad tone and feels final. On my first read It felt like a parent but that was just my projection. Very nicely written this poem is a shadow in words.
It's about loss, can be of anyone's loss, thank you my dearest sorrenbarret love is love and once it's gone it's gone. 🌹
You know my love for you, your poetry and this collection. This one, dear poet and friend, ends with such emptiness. Like standing alone in a hall that had a party, but someone pranked you with the wrong time. I really felt this one because I've known that feeling my whole life. Well done in capturing it so well. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
When the party is over that's what we are left with dearest Tristan emptiness. Thank you dear friend. 🌹
