Goldfinch60

Each step in our life

Brings an open page,

An open page to our future.

Each door reveals a chapter,

A new chapter on our life

Filled with open pages.

Each chapter of our lives is new

And we need to read them all

As our life moves on

To bring us to that place,

That place of wonder

That is waiting for as at the end,

The end of the final chapter.

Some people read the last page of a book first - can't wait until the end! lol.

There must be millions of pages in our autobiographies - you and I.

A poem written of days in a life and chapters in a book both of which are winding down. I feel you Andy you and I are riding in the same boat. Nicely written

Each day is a bonus and a new chapter - a well observed write.

The use of repetition is movingly effective here, AndyπŸ•ŠπŸ™πŸ»
