Meritorious Mercies

Tune: Hawkhurst

('Come gracious Spirit, heavenly dove')

Psalm 33 v.18-22

*********

The eye of the Lord is upon

Them that do fear Him, every one

He looks upon them, they that do

Hope in His mercy ever true

He looks to deliver their soul

From death, preserve them, make them whole

To keep the alive when famine

May strike, and new mercies begin

Our souls waits for the Lord, He is

Our help and shield, our trust is this

For our heart shall in Him rejoice

To His holy name we give voice

We have trusted in His name sure

It be holy for evermore

And trusting still, let your mercy

Be on us, e'en this our hope be

I first posted on this site some 9 years ago almost to the day and during all that time you have consistently been wring and posting these excellent writes - don't know how you manage to maintain the quality and consistency but so glad you do.
