Putting down a holiday revolt is an orange haired dolt
Christmas a foreign tale, deemed unamerican it is necessary to curtail
Jesus not born on US soil, a suspected terrorist his sedition we must spoil
Imports to control, place tariffs on children's toys from the North Pole
Santa denied a visa is detained, awaiting deportation in chains retained
Due to global warming, a slice of ICE sent to the North Pole to chill the soul
Gathering up elves in twelves and Episcopalians, charging Santa with hiring illegal aliens

Good write SB. You seen that fat beardy bloke around?!
He's being held for deportation. Thanks for the read Orchi appreciate it my friend
Has he got a dodgy wig too, as someone else has?!
Given the choice why would someone choose a wig like that? It's just got ta be real
Like "Santa denied a visa is detained." Well written as always SB.
Thank you Katie for your review and kind words of support they are most appreciated
You made me laugh, nicely put. Your poem "Merry Trumpmess" critiques contemporary political attitudes toward immigration and cultural traditions, particularly around the Christmas holiday. It presents a satirical perspective on how policies and rhetoric can impact cherished customs and figures associated with the season.
Thank you friendship for the read and kind words of support. Your interpretation fits well the meaning of the poem
your welcome
It's Nebuchadnezzar's dream..
Thanks so much for the read and understanding. It is appreciated
Soren, this piece cuts because it refuses subtlety. The rhymes move fast, the images escalate, and the satire keeps tightening its grip. Itβs absurd, yes (so is where we are currently)β¦but itβs also uncomfortably recognizable. A biting, fearless holiday revolt. πΉπ€ππ―οΈπ¦ββ¬
Thank you Tristan for the read and comment of support it is most appreciated. What better time to revolt than the holidays for was not the birth of one of the greatest rebels a good time to cry revolt. For one that stood for equality with a Samaritan parable not a time to cry nationalism and prejudice.
You are most welcome! Agreed! π― It seems like you and I visited the same ball park this morning! It's rockin' to not be alone, my friend!
Right with you my friend at times the universe aligns.
Who is Satan ? where is Santa ?
Satan has orange hair Santa is being detained for illegal entry. Thanks for the read Lorenz
This sharp satire masterfully wields holiday themes to critique policy and paranoia. The blend of absurdity and pointed allegory is brilliantly effective. A darkly merry and memorable piece.
Thank you so much Mottakeenur for your generous and kind words of encouragement they are most appreciated.

Very good words soren and so very true the way the world is nowadays.
Andy
Thanks for the read Andy it is most appreciated. A Merry Christmas
Kudos, from the other side of the Pond, I seriously cannot believe we are all a part of his show. πΉ
Thanks Teddy for the read and comment. It is a sitcom where all are sitting and laughing but no one is doing anything. Maybe that is best by letting his follies and foibles prove to his constituents that his ways are not what they thought. There is a chance for a nonviolent ending to this farce.
