For The Fourteenth Time.

So here we were again

Seeing the band,

The band we adore.

Onto the stage they came

And started playing,

“Sing, sing sing.” started

And straight away I was taken,

Taken into that music,

That music the band played,

Played to us once more,

Taken to a place of wonder

And of absolute joy.

Each time I see them

They get better,

And last night was phenomenal,

An evening that flew by

As their music came into me,

Came into my mind and soul.

Every time I see them

They do this to me

And take me to that wonderful place,

That wonderful place where music reigns.

I will go there again

And see them once more,

For the fourteenth time.

  • Comment from author about the poem: Last night was the thirteenth time I have seen this band " Down for the Count" and they were superb, I am convinced that they get better every time I have seen them and last night was absolutely incredible.
