Eyes full of stars, breaking dawn of a smile
Chordal of birds, nature without guile
Peaceful summer breeze, soft finger petals
Whispering breath, in cradling arms settles

What a lovely piece.... Many congratulations!!!
Thank you so much Abdullah for your most kind remarks they are deeply valued
What a wonderful blessing.
Capturing the essence of the joy that comes with new life, while expressing how precious he is to you!
Congratulations on your newest grandson. (:
Thank you so much Lane for the read and kind words they are most valued. Children are a lovely thing and having your own is a wonderful thing but there is nothing like grandchildren. They bring all the blessings of your own children with none of the labor.
I can only imagine that feeling. My grandparents have said similar about me and my siblings. I hope one day I can experience being a grandparent as well, and I can tell you love your grandkids!
My maternal grandfather and I spent a good deal of time together and I didn't realize until after he died how special he was to me. I have spent a good deal of time with my grand daughter who has brought me back to life and hope to spend time with this grandson as well not as much with my other grandsons but children especially grandchildren are very special.
That’s really touching. There’s something powerful about generational connections like that. It makes sense that it would bring you back to life in a way. I miss my grandparents. This has reminded me to call them and not take the time I do have with them for granted, so thank you. (:
Yes, wonderful news SB!
Thanks Orchi it is appreciated nothing like grandkids they are the best.

As someone else commented, what a wonderful blessing.
Thank you so much Mutley yes grandchildren are special. I appreciate your read and kind words
A lovely metaphor, Soren. It reads as innocence, yes, but also as presence itself…being held in a moment before identity, fear, or language takes over. Gentle, restrained, and deeply human. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
Thank you Tristan I always appreciate your reads and comments and this one yes can be taken just like that.
Rock on! You are most welcome, my friend!
That grandson has a great poet as Granddad...
You are too kind Soman I thank you
Congratulations ❤️.Your poem revolves around the beauty and serenity of nature and the feelings of peace and contentment it evokes. The imagery of stars, birds, and gentle breezes suggests a harmonious relationship between the observer and the natural world. The Poet matter includes elements of nature (the dawn, birds, summer breeze) and emotional responses (smiles, whispers, cradling arms), conveying a sense of tranquility and connection.
Thank you so much for your read and interpretation it is most appreciated my friend
