Let’s be absolutely right here -
I can’t get my meaning quite clear.
I don’t know if I’m dyslexic,
Perhaps cack handed, take your pick.
I can’t spell, that is for certain
With Spell Check sometimes a burden.
There’s whole letters on the keyboard
My fingers have often ignored.
Words do double up on the page,
‘Telling ya it ain’t just old age…
“Publish poem” becomes the goal
Though there’s ages before it’s whole…
A jolly old encourager
Tells me kindly (I will find her!)
That it’s not the destination
But the journey!! Oh damnation…

Dave true it is the journey is the whole of it. Nicely said.
