Once it was white, then white again,
The snow was replaced by the drops.
Clumps of yellow, sprung through the green,
So bright, and cheering, and warm.
The hawthorn, in clumps of vivid white
As you drive down the road,
So vivid, against the bushes of brown
Just starting to bud.
Has the spring, that we crave
At last arrived, to show us new life.

Looks like it might be a wet one... thanks for the hopes though, Andy.
Let's hope so - Good write Gold.
Thanks Orchi.
Here color is used to indicate the change in seasons and coming of spring. The sterility of white of winter with the introduction of yellow a bright and warm color for spring. I remember well daffodils that poked their heads through snow in the spring. Well done
Thank you for your understanding words soren,
Andy
Always my pleasure Andy
