GUESS WHO (2)

Michael Edwards

GUESS WHO  (2)

His head is empty as everyone knows

so take a big breath and blow up his nose

with your thumbs in his ears to control the sound

you can play the dumb blather for which he’s renowned.

Handmade paper, excellent! As for guessing, some names are unmentionable so as not to bloat their ego and publicity🙏🏻🕊️

Bloat their ego? Would I ever? Cheers argios

Michael, this carries a playful jab…quick setup, then that closing line brings it home with just enough edge. “Play the dumb blather for which he’s renowned” gives it character without dragging it out. Short, sharp, and fun. Well done and beautiful art, my friend...on handmade paper, no less. Rock on!. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛

Thanks Tristan - yes I've been busy of late and just finishing off another batch of pots.

Nicely said. Your playful instructions given in the poem imply that this character can be controlled and made to sound foolish, emphasizing the theme of superficiality and the nature of communication.

A lovely observation - thank you for looking in.
