IF I AM
If I’m not
and haven’t been
I never ever will be
I could be now
I could be soon
and if I am you’ll see me
I wasn’t once
and now I am
but when I’m dead I won’t be.

Good write M. lol.
Cheers O
You have got my mind working in this riddle poem Michael. I love these puzzles. Such a good way to keep a poem in head until solved. Well done my friend. A fave
Let me know when you've solved it - would love to know the answer. Cheers S
Off the top of my head Michael the first thing that hit was hope but then I thought of love but but that has its problems too. I'll keep thinking
A dark write, Michael. But that watercolor will be.
Thanks Jerry
Michael, there’s something deceptively simple here that carries real weight. The movement through time, especially that central turn, gives it a quiet punch. It reads light, but it lingers. Beautifully done, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
Actually I think i must be getting more simple in old age - I don't understand it myself.
This is beautiful. 🌹
Just like us Teddy 😁😁
💙
Well written
Fine words Michael.
Andy
But if you are
You will always be
And will never stray
It is now
And will never stop
So I will see you
You are now
And and are here
But death brings a new start
Love it!
