The person I am is me

I don’t pretend

Pretend to be anything

To be anything I’m not

I will not change for anyone

I am not perfect

But do the best I can

This is me

And if you don’t like

Don’t like what you see

It is not my problem.

          Good write Gold. Yes, it is so. Are some (me?) insecure, unsure, needing approval, etc of ourselves at times, that we feel we must fit in with others, as if it is 'my problem'.
          But here it is 'This is me - like me or lump me!'.
