Tune: Hursley
('Sun of my soul, thou Saviour dear')
Psalm 63 v.1-8
**********
O God, you are my God, early
Will I seek you, I thirsty be
For you in a dry, thirsty land
Provide me water by your hand* (*Spirit)
I desire to see your power
And glory, as I saw each hour
In your temple, for you are kind
And loving to me, that your mind
So my lips will praise you, I will
Bless you while I live, praises still
I will give, and lift up my hands
To worship you, Lord of all lands
My soul shall so be satisfied
With the best you give, not denied
My mouth shall praise you with joyful
Lips, and confess you Lord of all
When I remember you upon
My bed at night, you are the one
I meditate on if I wake
In the night, comfort from you take
Because you have been my help, stay
I too shall praise you in the day
In shadow of your wings rejoice
My soul follows you close, makes choice

Another beautiful hymn Orchi it falls back on faith and belief in one that can comfort and hold one up. Nicely done my friend
Thank you SB. We're not human, are we? How do we get past that 'verify'?! lol.
You are most welcome Orchi. Cheat!
Excellent work, Orchi! The service was progressing beautifully until Popeye answered the call for holy hydration, burst through the stained-glass window, and flooded the sanctuary with spinach-infused Spirit water. He was screaming βGlugging Times!β Noah is gathering the animals now. ππΉπ€ππ―οΈπ¦ββ¬
Thank you T. We knew he would mess it up! lol.
Good one Orchi.
Thank you Gold.
