There I was drinking coffee
In the coffee house,
Sitting with my lover and a friend,
When looking out the window we saw her,
A young lady.
She was wearing shorts so tight
She almost looked naked.
And our friend said to us
“If I were her mother
I’d tell her not to go out like that!”
And we all laughed,
Remembering those olden days
When respect for all was there,
Unlike these modern days.

Good write Gold. In church we should be smart but can be informal, I would say. Sometimes, even leaders, wear those awful shredded jeans. Maybe appearing 'poor' - after our dosh?! (money).
Very true Orchi. Those shredded jeans are very expensive. The last time I had jeans was in the 1960's they then became a fashion item and shot up in price, I have never had them since then. LOL
But these were worn by older people (middle aged). it made them look like overgrown teenagers, when they were in fact 'has-beens'! lol.

A good write Andy it appears that dressing has followed the lack of respect that goes with other things. I remember speaking with an old woman years ago that said to me she could not imagine the lack of respect young people have not wearing suits and ties when they traveled on airplanes. I guess times change. When I started working I always wore a suit and tie to work this evolved into a jacket and tie and finally into slacks and a sport shirt.
Thank you Soren. All my working life I wore suit and tie. I did my forty seven years and one month working dressed that way.

Some of these Shorts look as though they've been Sprayed on .
And do any of the Male TV Presenters own a Razer Blade. Unshaven, No Ties. Men on Game Shows sometimes wear T Shirts.

In saying that, when I tried on my suit, for some reason the waist had shrunk on my trousers.
