From out of a fog appears an open space, flat and desolate it carries no weight
Cloudy skies kiss cold ground an unrequited love where not even tears of rain are absorbed
Rock walls form a rigid embrace, naked but frigid, here not even hope grows
From the North, winds blow glacial warnings of a long winter of starvation
Nature's love embedded in ice awaiting a spring thaw

Love like buses, one after another
Thanks Norman I appreciate your read and comment
most welcome
Hauntingly beautiful—where love lies frozen, waiting for spring to breathe again.
You are most kind Soheil again your words are most appreciated my friend
And you are most welcome. Your words are warmly received. It is always a pleasure to share a little beauty in the exchange.
I suppose in a way there's two loves.
The love that dies through time.
The love that goes to sleep through winter but comes alive in the spring.
Thank you Paul for the review yes you have hit on it. That that dies with time is a false love never meant to be, that that sprouts anew the true love that does not die.
Good write SB.
Thank you my friend it is appreciated
What a haunting piece, Soren. Every image deepens the cold isolation until the ending quietly reveals that renewal has been preserved beneath the barrenness...bleak, vivid, and ultimately hopeful. Excellent write, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
Thanks so much Tristan frozen love can sprout in the warmth of the spring
This is apparently, a sign of things to come.
The unfeeling Winter . A good Write.
Thanks Kevin for the read and prognostication. Hopefully not though I wish everyone warmth by the fireside with one they love
Ideal. My Pleasure.
They say the best way to get over an old love is to fall in a new one, and who knows what life has in store for you.
As the saying goes, love is sometimes in the air—you just have to know where to look.
Who knows, a spark might just fly... Besides, loneliness, when embraced, can be deeply creative; we just need to learn to enjoy our own company.
Best regards.
Thank you so much Carlos for the read and comment. Your poetic encouragement is most valued and anticipated.
Wonderful words soren showing that times change and glory will come to us.
Andy
