Oh, Fido says to me

Just say it in few words

Not use 500 words when 5 will do

And the only 'rambling' ya gotta do

Is take me out for walkies!

Not waffle on endlessly

Interminably

And that's quite a long word - 

You'd never have thought up a 5-syllable word

With only your 3 brain cells

And your metres or formats of, Oh, I dunno

84. 6. 43. 76 .5. 26. 4. for example

Are ya playing bingo?!

Lend or give me some of your brain cells, Fido

I ask him, cos he has 3 billion or more of 'em

You time-waster, you bounder, you cad.....

Haven't poets got more important things to do
