CLEAR AND PRESENT DANGER
I have a Girlfriend, the delectable Louise,
Last Week was her Birthday and just so to please;
I asked what She'd like for a Gift on that day:
'Well a fine 'Apple Watch' would go a long way'-
So I took her to an Orchard to look at some Trees.
THE PAGE BOY
I adore my Girlfriend, She's lovely and Bright,
But a strange revelation has now sprung to life.
For She says I'm Invading her Privacy most days,
And feeling much Stifled by my Intrusive new ways:
A Confession I read in her Diary last Night.

I was a page boy once and even had a pageboy do like Fauntleroy. Oh my!
Oh Lord. Thank you for Reading.
Itβs fun now to think of, slightly embarrassing. But back then it wouldβve been the opposite. Thanks for stirring up memories with excellent verse.
Being a Beatles fan since 1963 : I had a Mop Top in the 70s. My Mother wouldn't allow it when younger: To long.
As for Memories: Glad to help.
Mop tops remind me of Ringo Starr!
If someone asked me for an apple watch I would have done the same told them to watch the apples and tell me when they are ripe. A fun read Kevin
Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it. π³ππ
My pleasure Kevin
You are navigating your relationship with ever more ease. I predict a bright future; so do seriously conseder category four sunglasses and very efficient earplugs.
A bright future in these darkening days of Autumn. Roll on Spring.
Thank you for Reading and Replying.
I love your perspective on the gift she desired. As for her diary, well, dating supposedly lead possibly to marriage so it was rather inevitable, maybe.
Yes. Appreciate you reading this. Thank you. And for the fave.
Kevin, this gave me a good laugh...that Apple Watch turn is gloriously ridiculous. Proper groaner in the best possible way. πΉπ€ππ―οΈπ¦ββ¬
Thank you. And for the fave.
