the field

a soldiers wife13

Fallen rain that dwells the ground that i rome

walking through this stormy night

trying to make it on my own

i notice the texture of the wind passing

the night like this calming cool air

as i sailed away into the misty night telling you goodbye

its now different but back then our love was such a sight

i love you so dearly my love

i did what i could

but time has passed since i last saw us

just let me and you

i never knew it would hurt so bad to be a soldiers wife

you let me fall upon my knees and didnt even help

what about the ring that day, on the leg which you knelt?

you said forever baby

we promised a life,love,and kids

not a broken home

that letter came upon our porch and i held my self and cried

i wanted you there to hold me too

but it said you died.

Nearly cried when I read this. I'm so sorry...
