जात पात को लेकर यहाँ है जीते
धर्म के नाम पर रोज़ है मरते,
किसने बनायीं है ये रीत न्यारी,
क्यूँ लगती है जात अपनी सबको प्यारी,
एक इंसान के कितने रूप बनाये.
धर्म की आग ने ना जाने कितने घर है जलाए,
देश है हमारा जग से प्यारा,
जात-पात ने कर दिया जिसका बटवारा,
ख़त्म हो जाएगी ये ''मैं'' की लड़ाई,
अगर जात-पात की मिट जाए ये बुराई.
