(sonnet attempt # VI)
VI
Been thinking of you, I do now confess.....
It's naughty to do, I know it is true;
And yet my heart whispers "He likes you too...."
And I cannot tell you 'tis so,...unless
It really is true and not just a guess.
Because if it is you'll tell me.....how soon?
That what my heart whispers IS true of you,
And we together wish love to express.
And so while I know I can't outright say,
('Tis forward, shameful, e'er to tell you so)
These lines in my mind did form, which all see----
What you'd know if you looked deep in my face:
My answer too, I'd easily know---
If I might be what I now dream.....reveal'd.

- Comment from author about the poem: Okay, so let's see,......I think I succeeded at Petrarch's model of 1221,1221,345,345, right? But it is still lacking any depth and symbolism, so that I fall too far short of the mark.....next try I'll attempt to incorporate symbolism......

i know how it feels to control the eagerness.........................i love it .
Thanks, alot for understanding....so have thus said it so openly as the speaker does in the sonnet, though, is naughty enough to make a deep blush.
