I wish someone as sweet as YOU
Could fall in love with me.
For I could trust my heart to such
So UNreservedly.....
To take me gently by the hand,
So firm yet tenderly,
And through "FOREVER'S" promised land
Lead me to scenes unseen.
To bind me INexplicably
With cords of LOVE, you know.....
Forgiv'ness, mercy ever rife;
For I do so need those.
I promise I'm not perfect, but
I know nobody is;
And if he was as sweet as you,
We might together live
In harmony and love so sweet,
Like folk in old times knew.....
Right now it only is a dream
That I wish could come true.
