Snowflakes and You

dbremner

Snowflakes hang in the air

As though suspended

From invisible cords

And they move my hand

To try and write these words

To describe my love

For you and them, who are

So dear and special

They seem to flit around

In a thousand ways

Caught by the tricks of air

To fill me with joy

Like you, my precious girl

So unique and kind

Lovely as a snowflake

Yet perhaps more rare.

Wow. It is VERY sweet. And I LOVE your comparing your sweet girl to a snowflake in all its tender transient delicacy. Yet contrary to the snowflake, may she never melt away into nothingness. I love how you imagined/presented it all...it is so perfect. And sweet.
