If a snowflake does not fall
Here on Christmas Day
Then a Christmas card from you
Will come, I hope, my way
And even if it snows
I'll hold your card - still dear
So send your Christmas card
With all your Christmas cheer.

You sweetheart! Oh boy! Now it had better be a whopping good Christmas card....wow, I have my work cut out for me..... Aw, but you make me smile!
It is very sweet....I like it.
Alas, alas, a fool of me,/
I make myself so oft./
I now regret my vain folly/
And pardon now is sought.
As I told Mikeal when I commented for the first time here, I have a most unfortunate knack for sticking my foot in my mouth and making a fool of myself. Kicking myself and unable to edit the above initial comment out of existence, I write now, cheeks aflame....sorry I spoke so foolishly.
My amended comment.....It is a very sweet piece, and I like it. I hope for your sake and that of the person this piece it written to, that person IS your snowflake, delicate and irresistable, forever dear, if melting away, then into a teardrop of sweet memories.
