Alone we are
Just you and I
As I point at the flame
That dances in the fire
You hold your head
In both your hands
And seem to lose yourself
In the warmth of that rich glow
Your face is held
Within my gaze
You're everything to me
I wonder if I tempt you
To fall in love
Here this evening
Alone just you and I
Where romance is our fire.

I love this poem since in it you have for me immortalized that card's picture....I can see it yet again as I read the poem, and I LOVE your interpretation of it! If only we could post it with your tribute! Enough that we know? Thanks so much for writing a poem from it, for you really have etched it in forever's book of love. Nuff said? I really love this poem....and Snowflake loves her Romeo....that's the answer to your last two stanzas.
