You are the sunrise
Of a thousand days
And you move my soul
In a thousand ways
I press your picture
Up against my heart
Without your loving
My day cannot start
If you are not here
How I long for you
You fill up my life
Please hear, this is true
As I end this poem
Some say words are cheap
But these ones I mean
My feelings are deep.

I know exactly what you mean. Great great poem
Thank you very much, glad you like it.
Greetings,
Are you writing the poem imagining someone, you don't even know about, yet?
I do that with thoughts and poems about love, because well I haven't met someone to inspire that for real.
It's beautiful though, just like too utopic to be real, my humble opinion.

Glad you liked the piece. It is written for someone who I very much like and who I am getting to know as well as possible. It hopefully has an air of romance about it as we both like that. Thank you for your comments.
You are a gifted poet

It is VERY kind of you to say that, thank you.
Excellent piece. I like it very much. It is very sweet. And it IS for real, isn't it???
Glad you like it. Well I certainly hope it is for real!
