Blue

nair36

I see the sun

(I see the sun)

And the sun sets blue

(And the sun sets blue)

And every time I see the sun set

I think of you

(I think of you)

Now the sun can set green

(The sun can set green)

And the sun can set red

(The sun can set red)

But instead the sun sets blue, and you

Are stuck in my head

(Stuck in my head)

I can watch the wind

(I can watch the wind)

Brush against the trees

(Brush against the trees)

The wind from the sea, brushes me

With a big blue breeze

(With a big blue breeze)

And from that breeze

(And from that breeze)

I can feel you tonight

(Feel you tonight)

It seems like everything that reminds me of you

Is blue and bright

(Blue and bright)

I can see things through that seem askew

Things are all they will be

The whole world is blue when I think of you

And that’s okay with me

Blue, blue, blue

All I see is you

Brown eyes, black hair

And an aurora too

You can guess the color

And I’ll bet it’s true

Funny thing to me

How you get me through

Days like these

Make me sing the blues

Makes me wonder if anybody

Could fit into my shoes

And if they could

What path would they cruise?

But you’re all I need

And you’re all I choose

I can see things through that seem askew

Things are all they will be

The whole world is blue when I think of you

And that’s okay with me

Excellent! Very sweet! Is it a play on a familiar song? With all the repeat lines, I guessed it was, but could not identify what song it would be, if it is. It is a lovely romantic piece to your dear sweetheart....hope she keeps you singing!
