Those Eyes

StormyDay

Those eyes draw me in

take me to a place I've never been

plunge through a veil so thin

to be caught in that ocean I've fallen

An endless sea of azure blue

beneath a golden dawn of morning dew

shimmering upon the crest of horizon's view

over that vista ominous winds are few

Those eyes take my breath away

let me slip below the ocean spray

enveloped by caressing waves that whisper-say

"From your heart I'll never stray."
