Remember this when night is long....
The morning soon will break;
And in the dew-drops hear the song
That He doth ne'er forsake...
The smallest unseen things He's made,
His mercy ever know;
Nor art forgot....don't be afraid,
But see how He doth clothe
These lilies of the field grown
And wither'd in a day:
Upon them beauty He bestows
Surpassing kings' array;
And in the lonely desert plains
Where man's eye ne'er doth see,
He gives the scrub and brush flow'rs rains
As much to pastures green.
Recall His care for all of these
While waiting for the dawn,
And know that He doth care for thee
Through all the dark night long.
