Fire

ilovecupcakes34

Casting shocking shadows in the bright sky,

Warm, wondrous, and wild.

Its delicate dance

is beautiful and takes my breath away.

Like talented tongues,

licking the lit sky.

Crackling coals

casting off blazing heat.

Flaming, furious, fiery, and fierce.

smoldering and smoky.

Roaring, raging,

It fascinates me, and I watch all night.

Sweet! I LOVE it! Reminded me of watching the fire blaze...which I love to do. Excellent description of it....I could picture it! (Only I recall the flames licking heavenward into a dark sky.) Your concluding line is so perfect, for that is exactly the response, especially after such an almost rapturous description of it.

Thanks! I worked so hard on it, and I felt other people should know. Thanks again!
