I can’t give you more

Marius

I can’t give you more
-by MVB

I can’t give you more than a dream
Envision a journey upstream
A striving to get what you want
A life that you constantly haunt

A trance of euphoria and joy
A prescience of life to enjoy
To be free and love with no bounds
To float weightlessly above ground

To lose all your worries and pain
From true love to never refrain
To kiss me without a concern
And thousands to get in return

I can’t give you more than my passion
And offer you love and compassion
To hold and embrace you forever
Be filled by your lips stirring flavor

To touch and caress you so dear
Your body surrender when near
Forget all around in the world
To have and to hold as if swirled

I can’t give you more than a dream
A love only you can redeem
I can’t give you more than a dream
That’s waiting for you to fulfill

  • Cheeky Missy

This is so very beautiful, enticing, alluring....and yet....is it wrong for her to ask the promise of forever...never letting her go...belonging in truth to him, before she blythely yields all to him in the ecstasy of his unbounded love, as expressed herein? I very much enjoyed this delightfully rather enchanting call of the heart to the heart, and thus are my misgivings. Excellent....so very well expressed, you have the reader in your palm.

Forever is such a complex word... but one has to believe that when it comes to love in order for it to have a chance to flourish and stand the test of time.

I suppose I do, yet with the rampancy of divorce these days and the strictures of God's Word on adultery, for all I guess I rather easily enter into spiritual adultery, I dread doing it naturally....thus I dread being rejected and left, once married...hahaha...guess that is not anything for me to worry about presently!
