Tears

Ashley

My tears fall silently,

They are the last thing I want you to see,

My love for you is sometimes too strong to stand,

And I feel as if I didn’t get a chance,

A chance to show you how it could be,

With someone who loves you as much as me.

You say it is me that you want,

But actions speak louder than words,

I am trying so hard not to show how much it hurts,

Hiding behind a mask of laughter and smiles,

If you look in my eyes you could surely see it is all lies.

What do you want from me?

I sometimes want to scream,

The pain is getting to be too much for me,

The sad part is I don’t think you realize,

The impact you have in my life,

So my tears fall silently,

Because they are the last thing I want you too see….

This is really sad. 🙁 I know how that feels... 🙁 Very beautifully written. I love it. 🙂

Thank you it just came to me and I had to get it out there.

Excellently expressed, beautiful depiction of the heartache! You remind me of when my last boyfriend broke up with me...doing it over the phone, I had the luxury of crying unknown. But your situation is worse, for you are interacting while drowning, hiding behind a smiling mask.....! How very frustrating, and almost hopeless...you've expressed it so VERY well.

Yes unfortunantly the eyes are a problem when you try to hide the pain.
