Swallow me and chew me up
That’s what I am good for.
I am worth nothing to you
Even when blood runs down my
Face you look at me with satisfaction.
You have won
You won the pieces of my heart
You toke all that was left and
Laughed at me when you
Saw me struggling to stand
Will I ever get up after you punched
Me in my stomach and
Left me lying in my own pool of vomit
I can’t get myself away from you
You stalk me in my sleep.
When I am awake you still there
I scream save me but no one hears
I am worn out and can’t scream anymore
I closed my eyes and died
I thought I was free but when I turned around…
You were there…

Awww I know that feeling.... 🙁 Good job. 🙂
Reminds me of how I really felt when my dreams were dashed in my face.....you described it VERY well. Excellent depiction. But what do you mean about being a different character by this poem?
