Saint-Malo - A Tribute

dbremner

Solid city walls

Rising above golden sands

Magic everywhere

Old men playing boules

Silver balls shining brightly

Pleasure everywhere

Sails and masts abound

A thriving busy quayside

People everywhere

Gardens rich with scent

Flowers alive with beauty

Colour everywhere

Spinning carousels

Ringing with happy laughter

Children everywhere

Azure sky and sea

In blazing summer sunshine

Lovers everywhere

Pretty mademoiselles

Joining their lips in loving

Passion everywhere

These are my sweet thoughts

When I think once more of you

Pretty Saint-Malo.

Wow....and thank you so very much for taking the reader there in this delightful depiction/description of St.Malo!!! They say a picture is worth a thousand words and this verbal image is almost truly alive with the sights, colours, scents, and sounds. I quite enjoyed it!!! Thanks so much for it...I've never before heard or known of it.
