Forbidden Love

Forbidden Love
- by MVB

To love you is forbidden
To have you is taboo
To hold another woman would be sacrilegious
When I want you

Your heart’s not for the taking
Your soul is stored away
I want your whole existence and not later
But today

So break those heavy chains
That wear down your essence
And let me revel when I unabashedly enjoy
Your luminescence

And hand in hand together
Lets break rules and pretend
That we can love each other in dreamy adoration
To the end

Intriguing, fascinating, enticing, provocative,....rather fearful in that it is forbidden and we can only pretend when we want so very much....we want ALL....except...what?...we don't want all, only now, forever is unthinkable...is that what it is? I quite enjoyed it, yet one feels wary for the implied naughtiness of it.
