The Final Attack

Samantha

A field of wheat.

The orange Autumn sky.

A breath taking beauty.

We run like we have nothing to lose;

holding hands.

The only thing i want

The onky thing i long for is you and your love.

A perfect day(: ...

        Gone bad!

You...

        You're gone!

"My love! Where are you?"

Not a word.

Not a motion.

Just a whisper, a sound.

"They are here."

Those words struck fear

Into my soul.

Into my heart.

That was the day

I lost my love.

That was the day

My world fell apart.

That was the day

I took my last breath.

Fascinating, and intriguing...welcome! Who is the "they"? Your "author's note" is helpful, yet it remains something of a mystery....choosing between him and the world...must your future disappear for him....isn't that better...or is it? The beautiful setting which introduced it and the entire way you depicted it was attractive and pleasant, excepting the horror of it.
