. . .Has been ages since I had a glimpse of my lucky charm,
the one who faced the waft to keep me warm.
Harking down to the memory lane gives a faint view,
time comes to a standstill, my eyes condense dew.
Anguish is reborn facing the bitter sweet past,
strangling the victim choked by the emotions;
when teardrops express a mile more than words,
with no one to call truly of my own.
Housed under the same dim tanned sky,
I endeavour to claim my earnest desires,
where only loneliness accompanies me every way,
with neither a companion to hold, nor a mate to care. . .
