The North Star

shawnj2609

I see many stars as they light up the skies,

it reminds me of millions of fireflies.

There are constellations, stars and planets of all kinds,

they all have different meanings, symbols and signs.

But one caught my eye, I could not believe it to be true,

it was the biggest and the brightest, it reminded me of you.

It was the north star, so luminous and so far away,

I wanted to capture it and keep it with me to stay.

But the things you love must be set free,

and thats the way it has to be.

Its real hard, its not easy to do,

but you must let your true love find you.
