Your voice rang out
So loud and clear
It told me everything
I didn’t want to hear
Calling me names
And telling lies
Laughing at the hate
Glaring from my eyes
As you turn away
And leave me far behind
I’m not your puppet
For you to rule
I’m not senseless
Don’t take me for a fool
I can see through you
Through your disguise
I know you secretly
Are planning my demise
As you turn away
And leave me far behind
But I’m a step ahead
I won’t ever be stung
By the sharp words
Coming from your tongue
It will be a fierce war
But in the end I’ll win
Leaving you with grief
And shivers through your skin
As you turn away
And leave me far behind
I’m the one you almost hurt
So keep me in your mind
As you turn away
And leave me far behind

Almost virulent, passionately fierce and definitely dangerous. A vengeful piece indeed, threatening and lingering, the conclusion effectively making the words "far behind" a lie, since if the threat holds, the speaker will never really be so "far" behind ever. Fascinating, eerie, haunting and chilling. Rather ugly in that sense. Well done if that was the intent.
I love the format! It's really so unique! And also, the message in it gets across clear... I LOVE IT A LOT_ SO MUCH THAT I'LL MARRY IT, IF YOU'LL LET ME!!
